Bob Schron has covered professional and collegiate sports for over forty years and is the author of several books, including The Bird Era: A History of the Boston Celtics 1978-1988. He has written for the Associated Press, Bleacher Report, and a number of professional team yearbooks and national magazines. A recipient of the President's Award from the Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association, he has a master's degree in communication from Ohio State University.
