Barbara Chotiner is a visual designer, artist, mom, and coffee lover, who creates in Narberth - a funky little ‘burb just outside Philadelphia. Originally from Long Island, she landed there after living and working in New York City and Boston. Barbara holds a BFA in Communications Design from Syracuse University and an MFA in Book Arts + Printmaking from the University of the Arts. She is currently earning her UX certifiication in Interaction Design through the highly respected Neilson Norman Group. Barbara is the art director and manager of the design department at The Franklin Institute, in Philadelphia. Her books include Tell Me a Story, Ada Lovelace and the Number-Crunching Machine, and The Hurry-Up Exit from Egypt.
