Recently, an author pointed out that she hoped her book would be helpful to children and their caregivers in this time of uncertainty. Following characters who work out solutions to sticky problems, seeing how sometimes they have to be brave, watching as they help each other--stories show children a way to deal with the uncertainties they face. And, sharing a book with little ones has become more than a sweet time to spend together, it's a time to reassure them and talk about scary or sad or confusing events.
